Pocket Rocket.

The new Silent Brick Pro.

How do you get so much performance, capacity and safety in such a compact enclosure? Through clever engineering – made in Munich.

Pocket: 12, 24, 48 up to 96 TB (Silent Brick Pro) in your pocket. The Silent Brick Pro is no larger than a postcard and only 3 cm high. Weighing just 520 grams, they are as portable as a pocket book. The aluminum housing makes them extra robust, and the transparent cover protects the Silent Bricks during transport.

Rocket: Pure speed. Thanks to 12x NVMe Gen4, the Silent Brick Pro achieves the highest data speeds when combined with the X6080 controller with 100G Ethernet. This allows you to transfer data at a constant speed of 6 GB/s – or 100 TB in about 6 hours.

Air Gap: The Silent Brick Pro is specially designed for Air Gap. The Silent Brick Pro offers up to 96 TB – more than three times as much as an LTO-10 tape. With random access, built-in redundancy, and NVMe performance.

Jumbo Jet.

The Silent Brick Max.

This means that even large amounts of data are no problem – and all with maximum efficiency, on just one height unit.

Jumbo: Up to 240 TB on one height unit and up to more than 6 petabytes per controller X. With the Silent Brick Max, constantly increasing data volumes and long-term backup plans are no problem. And in VTL mode, it is a better alternative to tape.

Jet: Thanks to Serial Attached SCSI with dual wide link, data is stored and retrieved at top speed. This is good for fast recovery or turns the Silent Brick System into a fast, active VTL archive.

And speaking of sustainability: Silent Brick Max from an existing Silent Brick System (G Series) can be directly reused – without data loss or migration.

SB Max
  • Stationary storage container for Controller X
  • Connection via high-speed SAS
  • Dimensions 19 inches W x 745 mm L x 1U H, weight 17 kg
  • Models with 49, 96 and 240 TB (gross)
  • Use as SecureNAS 3P (ZFS with triple parity) or VTL (Erasure Coding with 4 redundancies)
  • 12x 3.5-inch HDDs, 4 each from three production batches
  • Digital Audit permanently monitors the status of hard drives
