How the Silent AI Pro TCO calculator works
The calculator compares the cost of cloud AI subscriptions (paying per user or per token) with owning a Silent AI Pro appliance on-premises. You enter how many light, medium and heavy users you have and what their subscriptions cost. The calculator then shows which Silent AI Pro configuration (R1000, R2000, R3000, H1000, H2000 or Z3000) can handle that load, when the appliance breaks even and how much you save over the comparison horizon.
What is included in the total cost of ownership
- Appliance hardware and the one-time software licence.
- Hardware SLA and software maintenance for the chosen service term (1 to 5 years).
- Electricity, based on your own price per kWh.
- Optional other annual hosting costs such as rack space, cooling or admin time.
